About Us

In 2012, we left everything we loved, our family, our friends, our fjords, our land and followed the lord in total faith, to a country we had no family in and had never even visited. We didn't choose Rexburg. He did. He led us here step by step, and we chose to follow with our eyes closed, trusting Him fully and embracing whatever came, come what may. That surrender has been the truest choice we've ever made. What we gave up was real, and what we walked into was unknown. But what we found here, the mountains, the people, the deep faith and family woven through this community, became a home we didn't know we were looking for. We thank God for it daily, and we hope Rexburg stays this way forever. Little Fjord Pantry grew out of gratitude. With a background in culinary arts and a lifelong love of the kitchen, I bake the way I was taught in Norway, dense, whole grain grovbrød, made for real nourishment, not empty calories. Nearly 26 years of motherhood have taught me what truly strengthens a family. Whole grains real fiber herbs from our own garden and food made with intention and love. Every recipe begins somewhere between our kitchen and a Rexburg sunset, a quiet reminder of how far His hand has carried us. I bake by feel as much as by recipe, always learning, always grateful.
